Saturday, 6th February. With howling southerly winds and a charging 4-5 foot easterly swell I took the risk of trekking it down south to find some waves. Even though home to some of the gnarliest waves in NSW, the Shellhaven district had nothing on display. Despite this, a hand-full rogue sets were able to penetrate the windy barrier. Later I managed to find a protected beach where a few of the local lads wittingly chose tow-outs as their weapon of choice.
